Part I. Introduction to the system

How to manage working hours for employees in a company or an organization is always a topic of discussion. This is because managers are concerned with creating a working environment that is effective and professional. Normally the task of clocking in to work and clocking off work can be done manually; however, it would be time consuming if each individual’s time-in and time-out needs to be documented and entered into data. And if the number of employees is beyond 1000, self-managing the time system is indeed difficult and challenging. In order to bring convenience to the end-users, we would like to introduce to you a software system called “TIME SHEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.” This system has all the features including: storing all the detail information regarding an employee as well as their time in and out of work. Based on the information the system will be providing, you will easily understand of your employees’ awareness of time.

Part II. A Guide to using the application

How to use the application on the server end.
- In order to use the application with the desired features, you need to run the program as a server.
1/ Updating system information.
For the first time activating the program, you should choose a directory to save your file logs (this is the file containing information about your employees’ time checked in and time checked out).
Then click "Apply" to save the configuration. 

2/ Adding employee information to the system.

3/ Looking at information about time checked-in and time checked-out.

4/ Looking at information as a report.

5/ Exporting files as Excel, Word, PDF.

6/ Saving files in other format.

How to use the application on the client end.
- On the client end, you will only need to enter in the server name (or a corresponding IP address), and port.
- Note that the current port must match with the server.

If you do not know which port to use, you may use the Help feature. The system will assist you in finding a port that corresponds with the server.
